SM Announces Real Time Content Project for SM Town in Paris!

As explained by the smiling Leeteuk of Super Junior, SM Entertainment are going to be doing something special for fans regarding the SM Town Concert in Paris.

On June 10th and 11th (second date was added after overwhelming demand,) SM Town comes to Paris and for all those who are not lucky enough to go, SM Town will be helping us experience the concert with real time content.

All you’ll have to do is follow SM Town on facebook but I think it’s better, and much more pleasing to you fans, if I just let Leeteuk explain from here. Check out the video, and it’s awesome that SM’s YouTube team subbed it!

TVXQ to perform at a-nation 2011 + new CM

Popular Korean group Tohoshinki (TVXQ)will be performing at Avex’s annual outdoor summer concert event, a-nation, for the first time in 2 years!

The news was revealed at the press conference for “Seven & i Holdings x Tohoshinki Summer Campaign” held on May 12th, where the duo promoted Sogo & Seibu department store chain’s new silver point card.

Free public viewing of a-nation 2011 will be available in the Tohoku region, where the 2011 Tohoku earthquake struck. Member Changmin commented, “I want to show a passionate stage. I want to tell (the victims), I know (you) are going through a hard time, but let’s work hard together and overcome it quickly.”

At the press event, Tohoshinki also talked about their upcoming CM for the Sogo & Seibu point card, which will start airing on May 13th. Leader Yunho commented, “It’s been a while since I filmed together with Japanese staff so I was nervous, but the feeling came back right away.”

DBSK’s Changmin’s Father Was Yangpa’s High School Teacher

It was recently discovered that DBSK’s Changmin and singer Yangpa have quite a unique relationship.

It was confirmed on the 4th by numerous representatives that Yangpa’s homeroom teacher for her senior year of high school was none other than Changmin’s father. Yangpa attended Jungkyung High School in 1997 and graduated the following year. A representative of Yangpa said, “To this day, Yangpa still considers Changmin’s father her most respected high school teacher.” 

Additionally, Yangpa is scheduled to participate in KBS’ Teachers’ Day special of “Student-Teacher Journey Together Concert” later in the month, and there is much anticipation in whether or not Yangpa will be able to meet Changmin’s father after all this time.

Yunho rocks out to JYJ’s “Be My Girl Remix”

TVXQ’s Yunho and Changmin recently attended a press conference for a K-pop charity concert in Thailand. During the press conference, both Yunho and Changmin spoke and delivered their greetings in Thai, to the delight of fans. Yunho started off strong but eventually got tongue-twisted by the language and gave up, prompting screams from the fans in attendance. Changmin decided to challenge the language too, but ultimately resorted to speaking in Korean. Changmin, however, became a Korean teacher as he taught those in attendance how to say “good night” in Korean.

What really caught the attention of fans was Yunho’s reaction to JYJ’s song, “Be My Girl Remix.” During the press conference, an audience member’s cell phone went off and the ringtone was the chorus of JYJ’s “Be My Girl Remix.” Yunho began bopping his head to the beat, made a telephone gesture with his hand, and suavely nodded at the cell phone’s owner.
